In-game description
Lightning Storm is a Greek Mythic Age god power in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Hera. When invoked, it deals significant amounts of damage to enemy units and buildings in the targeted area. It does not harm friendly units. Each bolt is classified as the divine damage type. The maximum damage cap has been eliminated in Retold, and each bolt deals 125 
divine damage.
Gameplay
Lightning Storm is the polar opposite of the Earthquake god power, which devastates buildings but does little damage to units. As such, it should be used when the opposite situation pertains. It is superb for destroying the force defending an enemy town and also in the open field, where it can turn the tide of a battle to the player's side, especially since it does not harm the player's own units. It is also very useful defensively when caught off-guard, as the attacking force will suffer huge losses and will be easier to defend against.
