Shifting Sands is an Egyptian Classical Age god power in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Ptah. When invoked, it instantly transports the player's units or their allies' units from one point on the map to another.
Gameplay
Shifting Sands can be used to quickly move an army to an attacking position, or quickly retreat to safety. It is particularly useful to protect Laborers away from the base from raids.
Retold removes the ability to target enemies, but will always transport all military units in its targeted area, making it more reliable for swift movement.
