Restoration is a Greek Classical Age god power in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Athena. When invoked, it causes friendly units and buildings in a large area to recover hit points. |
|||
When the healed units and buildings are not attacking enemies, they are healed very quickly. Units and buildings that are attacking are healed slower in comparison. When Restoration is invoked, a glowing circular ring appears on the ground to mark the area of restoration. Any friendly unit or building that is damaged will be healed within this circle. The target being healed has a glowing beam descending from the heavens over them. |

Gameplay
Restoration is fast enough to heal almost any unit to full hit points in the allotted time. The exceptions are myth units and Fortresses that are attacking, as well as Wonders and Titans. It is also useful for healing troops in combat, prolonging their efficiency. It should be saved for desperate situations or to turn the tide of a pitched battle. Using Restoration while defending a town from an attack could be helpful if several buildings are damaged and units are injured.
