Her god power, Ancestors, summons an army of undead Minions for a limited time to either assist in a heated battle or protect against a surprise attack. Ideally, Ancestors should be invoked almost immediately before Eclipse to grant the full effect. Should Ancestors be invoked on water, Lost Ships are spawned instead, which can be used to aid in a naval battle or defend the player's Fishing Ships in the event of a raid. |

Gameplay
Nephthys improves Egyptian heroes, especially Priests, making her an ideal choice against enemies mass-producing myth units. Nebty gives Egyptian heroes extra bonus damage against myth units, allowing them to take down more troublesome myth units later on in the game. Spirit of Maat allows Pharaohs and Priests to heal units faster so they can return to combat or gathering resources again, while Priests are also made cheaper, allowing them to be even more easily massed. Funeral Rites is particularly useful for players running low on gold, as it refunds a small amount of gold whenever they lose a human soldier or hero. If they lose a large army of human soldiers or heroes, the amount of gold refunded can be significant. Funeral Barge also allows a Leviathan to spawn in the wake of a sunken War Barge, giving the player a stronger defense in naval warfare. Her myth unit is the Scorpion Man, an effective brawler myth unit that can poison nearby human soldiers, dealing additional divine damage over time. Isis players can follow up with Osiris in the Mythic Age to have an even stronger army of Priests, even including a Son of Osiris and Mummies whose Reincarnation ability inflicts a continuously damaging curse over time on enemy units and converts them into Minions if slain while still cursed. The latter can be combined with the Scorpion Men's venomous stinger and the strengthened Egyptian heroes to quickly eliminate enemy armies full of human soldiers and myth units.
Her god power, Ancestors, summons an army of undead Minions for a limited time to either assist in a heated battle or protect against a surprise attack. If Bast was picked for the Classical Age (only possible under Isis), her god power Eclipse can further strengthen the player's myth units, including the Minions summoned from Ancestors. Ideally, Ancestors should be invoked almost immediately before Eclipse to grant the full effect. Should Ancestors be invoked on water, Lost Ships are spawned instead, which can be used to aid in a naval battle or defend the player's Fishing Ships in the event of a raid.
Mythology
"Her name means "lady of the castle." She was another daughter of Geb and Nut, and the wife of the evil Set. Denied a child by Set, she tricked Osiris into fathering a son, Anubis. She was associated with funerary rites, one of the key rituals in ancient Egyptian life. She normally appears as a woman with mummy wrappings for hair.
"Nephthys saith unto the Osiris Ani, whose word is truth:- I go round about thee to protect thee, O brother Osiris. I have come to be a protector unto thee. My strength shall be near thee, my strength shall be near thee, for ever. Ra hath heard thy cry, and the gods have made thy word to be truth. Thou art raised up. Thy word is truth in respect of what hath been done unto thee. Ptah hath overthrown thy foes, and thou art Horus, the son of Hathor."
