Gameplay

The fastest archers in the game, Chariot Archers are the ultimate raiders as they are ranged, train very quickly and have a high attack. They have a small attack bonus against infantry, and are very versatile. In addition to being dangerous to infantry, they can outclass other archers with their higher hit points and greater firepower. Chariot Archers should still be kept out of harm's way as they are rather fragile. They work well with Camel Rider due to their complementary abilities. Chariot Archers can pick off infantry while Camelry take out any attacking cavalry or counter-archers that could threaten the fragile Chariot Archer. Since the two balance out each other's weaknesses they make a formidable, fast moving force.

History

Trivia

  • There is an undocumented "Medium Chariots" upgrade (automatically granted after advancing to Heroic Age), which increases attack and hit points by 10%. In standard games, this is not observable, as Chariot Archers are not available to train before the Heroic Age.
