In-game description
Shoulder of Talos is a Greek myth technology that is available to worshipers of Hephaestus and can be researched at the Temple. Once researched, it upgrades Silver Colossi to Gold Colossi, increasing their hit points and making them less vulnerable to hack attacks.

Mythology
"On the return voyage of Jason and the Argonauts, they needed to stop and resupply on the Isle of Crete, but the sorcerous Medea warned them of Talos.
