In-game description

Ydalir is a Norse myth technology, available to research at the Hill Fort and Asgardian Hill Fort if the Classical Age is reached through Ullr. Once researched, it improves the research and production speed of the buildings, and enables the training of Portable Rams in the Classical Age.

Trivia

In Norse mythology, Ýdalir (or 'yew-dales') was the dwelling place of the god Ullr. The wood of the yew tree was historically prized in Northern Europe as a material for making bows, whence the connection of Ullr to archery and bow-making.
