In-game description
Nine Waves is a Norse myth technology in Age of Mythology: Retold - New Gods Pack: Freyr, available to research at the Temple and Hill Fort if the Heroic Age is reached through Aegir. Once researched, it grants all heroes and siege weapons movement speed and damage.

- Hero and siege weapon: +10% movement speed and +20% attack to all of their actions.

Trivia
- The "Nine Waves" is most likely a reference to the Nine Daughters of Aegir and his wife Ran, who personified the waves of the sea. It has been suggested that the daughters may be identical to the "Nine Mothers" of the god Heimdall.
