In-game description

Shaduf is an Egyptian myth technology that is available to worshipers of Ptah and can be researched at the Temple and Granary. Once researched, it makes Farms cost less and speeds up their construction.

In some versions of Age of Mythology, Shaduf has been found not to reduce the cost of Farms once a saved file has been reloaded.
